TranQwool, having been successfully launched at the outset of 2008, has been in development since 2006 by a group of professionals representing over a hundred years of experience within the textile industry, serving a variety of global markets with a broad base of technologies. This highly energized team includes specialists in creative design, communication and information technology providing total responsiveness to the needs of the consumer.
The TranQwool initiative came about due to the shared interest amongst its founders to establish a forum where consumers could easily find products that are truly “green” or “eco-friendly”. Our goal is to establish TranQwool as a mark of “truth in labeling”, giving the consumer total confidence in the products offered or promoted on this site.
Why choose TranQwool? Our site will give the consumer access to a variety of products and to information pertaining to the form and function of environmentally friendly materials.
What makes TranQwool different? We are different because we bring the consumer together with the manufacturer. If you cannot find a product, we will source it for you, even if this means finding a way to make it!
Responding to the need for eco-friendly products, the solution was simple: Wool, naturally! Wool is the most versatile, yet most misunderstood, fiber in existence offering a broad range of benefits, naturally. Additives and treatments are not required unlike so many other materials used today.
